1. Will there be data dumps available for the Broken Lands?
Answer: There will be data dumps for the Broken Lands, and the Elgea data dumps will also be expanded.
2. What are the prerequisites and research time required for existing accounts to settle in the Broken Lands? Answer (From GM Stormcrow in Global Chat): "I think research is still on the cards, but I really don't think it's an onerous one in terms of time (unless, ofc, your queue is days full)." "I think it'll be pretty short."
3. Where would an existing account's new town be located in the Broken Lands? Would it be randomly placed in the same area as a new account's?
Answer: An existing account will start with a town in the same area that a new account does.
4. Will faction armies be able to attack towns? Will they attempt to attack player encampments?
Answer: Factions will be militant and will behave according to their relationship with the player.
5. Will existing accounts get another Tenaril's Spell of Teleportation for use in the Broken Lands?
Answer: Similar to the separate town limit, the teleport spell will be separate for each landmass.

Will the remaining 70% of rare res actually do anything?
Do the devs have any thoughts about the mass war that is being waged?
Why are all the factions asleep?
What will be the future interaction be between Broken Lands and Elgea? Navy, armies, will it be limited to certain 'ports' or just water in general?
Can we call it something other than 'Broken Lands'?

1. Will battle magic and terraforming be parts of the new update (or once)? How about market visibility? 2. Will the new update bring more unpredictable player independent existence to Elgea and the Broken lands (dynamic weather, deseases, riots), more discoveries, townbuffs, blueprints or unique items that can be found? 3. Will we be able to interact with Elgea through trade or in another way, to make the gaming experience a more consistant one (not two different games, but one)? 4. Will we get more military or diplomatic options? 5. How easy will it be to influence factions. Are there decisions, that can't be revoked? Or will all players have 80% faction standing soon (after 3 months trading with some hubs)? 6. Will the faction give special items, buffs or blueprints (with a small chance) to players with a good standing? 7. Are features planned to make micromanagment easier and more player friendly (less time consuming)? 8. Do the factions interact with each other or fight each other? 9. Will we get more caravans once? And get a trade chat? 10. Do we ever get hot spots, which can be used for player driven quests or tournaments?

Will New Players spawn in TBL? If so, w ill New Players be given a choice of spawning on Elgea, TBL, or even in Virten?
Please explain the basic mechanics of existing Elgean players establishing a city in TBL/Virten. - Teleporting existing Elgean city? - A tech leading to a special settler unit that travels to TBL? - A tech leading to a new city spawn in TBL?
In order to establish a TBL city, must an Elgean player first have 10 cities in Elgea?
After establishing a TBL city, are future TBL cities created by settlers as on Elgea?

Designer Dragon once said that a game without Bartle killer type players is a stagnant society. Do you think that is true for Illy? Is that of any concern to you and will Broken Lands change it?
Whats is your general view of Illy society in terms of Bart Stewart Personality and Play Styles?
ref: "Further, Bartle pointed out that eliminating the killers from the mix of the population results in a stagnant society. The socializers become cliquish, and without adversity to bring communities together, they fragment and eventually go away. Similarly, achievers, who are always looking for the biggest and baddest monster to kill, will find a world without killers to be lacking in risk and danger, and will grow bored and move on."

Will Broken Lands and Elgea get connected in any way in the future, like some kind of trade ships?

Many of these have been answered in the FAQ. I'll paraphrase here:
The_Dude wrote:

|
Yes. New players get to choose which continent to place their first city.
The_Dude wrote:

You will not be able to teleport/move your Elgea city to the new continent.
The_Dude wrote:

No. No traveling to TBL at this time.
The_Dude wrote:

No official answer on this... but since new players can put a city in TBL, i'm guessing there will be a new GUI option to spawn a city in TBL.
The_Dude wrote:

No, the settling requirements between Elgea and TBL will be independent.
The_Dude wrote:

I would imagine so.
