Topic: 5JULY12 - Medals, Mail, Market Posted: 05 Jul 2012 at 21:10 |
- Medals - You can now award medals outside your alliance with the " Can Award Medals Outside of Alliance" permission.
- Mail - You can now delete mail from your sent box. (Not this does not delete it from the recipient)
- Marketplace - Selected time period is now black rather than white on white.

Note: The person you award the medal to (outside your alliance) will have to accept it for it to appear in their list. You will be charged whether or not they accept it.

ThunderCat, I don't know what you mean by accepting it ... I'm pretty sure mine just showed up. I did have to choose to make it active.
Not that I'm ungrateful, I'm exceedingly honored, just that in the notification mail, for example, there was not an option to accept or not.

If it's awarded to you by your alliance its automatically accepted.
If someone other than your alliance awards you a medal, then you must choose to accept it.
If your alliance awards you insulting medals then you can quit your alliance. This is a firebreak to prevent your enemies from filling up your medal cabinet with bad medals without your consent.

GM TC, I have two medals. One was awarded by my alliance and one was not. I did not have to accept either of them.
And shadow ... you have no idea!

The 'incontinence' award for those who soil their undergarments at the first sign of trouble...
