Rofl... Agreed I think it would be hard to attack 2 places at the exact same time.

I took some calculus but not enough to be absolutely sure that you cant attack something at the same time.  Studying golden mean and metaphysical Edit: "stuff" suggests that it might be possible, but who knows.

I'm sure others have seen this, but it was new to me;
Rumour reports that after your units disappeared in the Corrupted Lands, more land became twisted and dark. Verdant jungle has become infested with putrid fungus and dark creepers, as though the destruction of your forces had fuelled the spread of the corruption to nearby lands.
So, wanna coordinate another attack? I'm in :)

Dunoob, agreed on not feeding it skilled commanders.  I sent only level 1 commanders last time...

As for feeding it, I am not sure if this helps or not.  I only know that I didn't get it going last time by sending it resources.

This could be a triggering factor as well...  perhaps the combination of a commander with troops.

Two small armies of about 1k T2 Cav just hit and it grew about 2 squares.  T2 cav was what I sent the first time I got it beating - and I sent a few more armies, so we will just have to wait and see...

or maybe the ammounts required to grow ( grow as change from state n to n+1, showing a new tile of corruption) are kind of huge, which could be as its a world wide "event" ... so maybe expecting by sending 1k or 5k diplos you are gonna make it grow, its a bit pretentious.

Regarding whats "valid as food" ( military and diplo, or just military) is not very easy to tell : just because after a military attack it shows a new tile of corruption just prooves military counts, but doesnt mean diplo doesnt ( any single attack could be just lucky enough to make the gap from one stage to the next). Of course if few military attacks would make it change 2 states, that could proof something...
 
If any1 could positively tell if they have seen it grow after one of their visits with diplos... (military forces on their way can be spotted worldwide, so its easier to tell if it was you, or some1 else diplos (which would make no diference on this question) ..or a military attack.
 
So in conclusion , one of the following could be true, but unconclusive at this point :
 
a) grows with both diplos and troops . with each "kill" counting as 1 (towards a great number req.)
b) only grows with troops (same as before but ignoring diplos)
c) only grows with commanders( with would be a bit weird, but who knows..)
d) grows with number of attacks ( same as a, b and c choices but only counting attacks, not ammount of troops in each attack, highly unlikely)
e) grows with both diplos and troops, but each type may count diferently (for example based on upkeep/ exp)... so 1k T2 would add more than 1k T1...   and 1k tier 1 cav more than 1k tier 1 spear

or to activate maybe actual attack (attempts) are required...

could be a number of influences still, or yeah maybe just not enough yet...Confused
