Squill, shouldn't you rephrase it like "Valar admitted Spirit whilst he was in war with Lorre" ? Those are two different things.

So out of curiosity, why didn't people see Curse in bad light for taking Spirit/Roller in?

It's a chance to use their armies that have been sitting back waiting for another tourny. Theres a lack of ability to use armies unless its for a crusade, then everyone can join in.

AFAIK: Azreil decided to admit Spirit/Roller. He then told the alliance Spirit/Roller was being attacked - by Curse, not by PA. Az then asked the alliance to break the sieges against Spirit/Roller.
Maybe Spirit/Roller wasn't honest with Az about his relationships; maybe Az didn't tell the alliance; maybe you started attacking him later that you're now saying; maybe, maybe, maybe. Who knows? I don't. But if someone sieges a member of my allaince, then it is my business.

Errr.... if I had a beef with someone, and he went and took refuge in a big alliance, I might be inclined to think "hang on, this changes things, I'd better reconsider...."
