Hi all,

Thanks to everyone who's commented on UIv2 - all comments are constructive.

I would make the point that there's been an entire subforum for reporting issues with UIv2 with threads both at the bug level as well as the 'feedback' level.

Many of the issues raised in this thread are being raised with us for the first time, and I would direct these posters to the testing thread to make their bug reports known. 

Others of the issues raised in this thread are regarding the content, purpose and layout of UIv2, and I would direct these posters to this feedback thread to make their views known.

Both these forums (and UIv2 itself) have been publically available for nearly two months, and so it's not as though the opportunity to comment on UIv2 has been withheld from players.

Having said that, UIv2 will - as all things Illyrian - change, grow, adapt and improve; and we're listening to all comments about UIv2. 

The Announcements forum, however, isn't the place to do this; please use the long-established threads in the Testing/UIv2 forum to air any of your issues and bug reports.

I will use the downtime for a nap.  I especially like the research tree in UI2, because it helps to guide building upgrades.  I have recently spent a LOT of time ingame and use UI2 almost exclusively, and I have not had a reason to use UI1 for several days.  The graphics are awesome in UI2, and makes my gaming experience much more enjoyable.  Great work from the devs, mods, staff, and the guy that brought them pizza.  I like being in Illy so much that I'm considering giving up my apartment.
 
ps;  I still haven't seen a mammoth.

I have been using UI2 almost exclusively for weeks and loath having to go back to UI1 for the few things I need there!

Above reasons aside, i like the map graphics (excluding shore graphics in UI2) in UI1better. It's just easier to tell the different terrains apart, especially in the mountains where they look almost exactly identical in UI2

Formatting of forwarded reports/text renders reading the information extremely difficult.  So much so, that I exit to UI1 to read these.
