It says his name is Gemley, maybe he just is an imposter jealous of awesomeness, I'm going with that theory,

I suppose that it can seem that way, but if you read the passage again, you're a warrior, not a sorceror.

Nokigon drifted in and out of sleep the night before his final test. He was physically weary, and was troubled by strange dreams. In one, he was chased by angry horde of orcs, who yelled and threw spears whilst for some inexplicable reason Nokigon knew that his only source of refuge was a cave, a cave which lay a few hundred metres ahead. In another, he saw Susan, walking slowly towards him.... but he quickly pushed that particular fantasy away.
In his final dream, a dark figure rose up over him, and held up a knife as he lay asleep-
Hold on. Lay asleep?
Nokigon snapped his eyes open- instantly, he saw the dark figure, his knife ready to stab. He knew that he had seconds.
Nokigon thrust his hand out at the figure- an enormous wave of wind roared from the centre of his palm. Caught unawares, the dark figure was thrown backwards; there was a sickening crunch as he hit the wall.
Nokigon leapt to his feet, and as soon as he had reached the figure's side he frowned. The assassin was a dwarf. He was also dying, and quickly. Nokigon placed two fingers on each temple, and concentrated. Quickly he penetrated the dwarf's defences, and instantly a melee of images greeted him- a sentry, his throat cut, lay dead beneath him.... he opened the door.... he saw the sleeping young knight...
Nokigon dismissed that memory, and burrowed deeper- he was taking his knife, the mark of an assassin- he was burying his knife in someone's throat- there! The memory he wanted. He heard the instructions, he was to kill the knight who had killed the sorceror, for he was a danger to the strength of the Parvacones.... the figure was short and stout, meaning he was a dwarf.... the dwarf faced him, he was about to raise his hood- but a strange blackness obscuring the memory forced Nokigon out of the mind- and then he realised the dwarf was dead.
Nokigon leant back on the balls of his feet, his mind deep in thought. So, there was a traitor in Clan Bealagh. But who? And where were they now? And what did they seek to gain?

The knight of the royal guard of Centrum lunged forward, his sword moving quicker than light, only for his target- the dwarf Gemley- to move out of the way. Gemley cut a brutal blow at the knight's throat, which Nokigon swayed out of. The knight then leapt forward, feinted a blow at Gemley's head then cut lightly across the dwarf's shoulder. A red line appeared there, then the knight withdrew slightly.
Nokigon's sword flashed in a glittering downwards arc, only to slam with a thud into Gemley's shield. Gemley cut back, a vicious axe strike, only for the blade to cut through air as Nokigon disengaged and slipped back  out of the way. The young knight then drew a dagger from one of the many hiding places around his body- this time from inside his left boot- and hurled the blade at the dwarf. The axman ducked the knife, then with some sixth sense hurled himself to one side as Nokigon's sword skewered the air where his head would have been had Gemley not rolled to the right. The duellists paused, circling, their eyes not leaving each other for a moment, waiting for the other to make the first move. Eventually it was Gemley who went onto the offensive, his ax cutting downwards in a lethal blow, only for Nokigon to move into the blow and strike the dwarf with a straight right into the chin. The momentum of the charge therefore used against the dwarf, the soldier felled backwards, his ax falling out of his hand. For a moment, Nokigon paused as his sword wavered, then he gestured for the dwarf to pick up the weapon. He walked a step or two, and then whirled around. His sword cut diagonally through the air, and slashed a line across the dwarf's face who had attempted to slam his ax into Nokigon's back. Cautiously, Nokigon stepped forward, as Gemley grimaced in pain but did not surrender. The knight stepped forward, and stabbed. The dwarf blocked the blow, then barely managed to stop the startlingly quick follow up strike- then the lightning quick blow which followed. Gemley desperately blocked another blow- but then that blade was coming in again! The dwarf felt like he was fighting three men, as he blocked another blow- then another- then another- then suddenly he felt a hard impact in the centre of his skull as the pommel of Nokigon's sword slammed into the dwarf's forehead.
Nokigon stepped cautiously over the unconscious dwarf, then stabbed downwards. His sword skewered the sand next to the dwarf's face, then he turned to face Ovrim.
Ovrim looked amused, then raised his right hand. "Nokigon is the victor."

Nokigon crouched down in the darkness, staring at the imposing mass of the Great Mountain Home. It was a dwarven building, which meant that the walls were over a meter thick and made from good, stout stone. The gate was made from solid steel, with a sorcery portected portcullis and several murder holes  above the gateway. There was a double gate system, which meant that an attacking army would get through the first gate and be susceptible to arrows, burning sand, hot water, rocks and other projectiles as they attempted to get through the second gate. A huge keep loomed over the majority of the fortress. A large mountain wall guarded the other sides of the fortress. In summary, it was a strong, powerful and deadly building- and he had to get inside it.
He had a handpicked team of 20 dwarves with him, and his mission was to break in and attempt to abduct the Kobold leader. It was a pathetic plan, and it had been dreamt up by Gimbur, the fat dwarf. Unfortunately, Ovrim had agreed, and here Nokigon was, planning the best way to get into the castle.
Nokigon waved his hand and started muttering under his breath, using strong incantations. The dwarves around him stirred slightly, but they were all powerful sorcerors and fierce warriors, and recognising the enchantment which the knight was casting readied themselves for a charge. Nokigon finished his spell, and thrust out his palm. Some meters to their left, a fearsome dragon  ripped out of the ground and roared a powerful challenge to the heavens. Yet before it could fly off, or attack Nokigon's band of soldiers, Nokigon ruthlessly took control of its mind. The thing froze, then shot a plume of fire into the air and soared at the Kobolds who guarded the gate. Yet before it could reach the gate, a green bolt of energy fired from the top of the keep and slammed into the dragon. Nokigon gasped as he used his strength to block the blow- yet the shaft continued to burn into the shields which Nokigon had erected around the dragon. Nokigon gritted his teeth, and with a gasp diverted the strain of energy to the right of his dragon. The bolt hit the earth, and caused a huge fire. Yet within seconds, the bolt struck the dragon again, and Nokigon blocked it. Finally, the bolt ended, and the dragon roared in triumph.
By this time, the alarm bells were ringing and spears were being thrown at the dragon. Yet the dragon swatted them contemptuously aside, and started ripping holes in the wall.
Nokigon sighed, tired. Yet the dragon would not last forever, and he had a job to do. "Let's go," he said to his team, and they made their way silently towards the carnage the dragon was making.

The group of dwarves led by Nokigon ran quietly towards one of the gaps in the wall created by the furthest stretch of the dragon's claws, and dragged themselves over the wall with the help of some sorcery. As they went, Nokigon spotted a Kobold sleeping against  the centre of the keep- unwilling to take the risk that he would wake the orc, Nokigon drew a dagger from his boot and threw it at the orc. His aim was true- he fully expected the blade to slice through the orc's neck. Yet the blade passed straight through the orc, clattering against the wall of the keep- and sounding an alarm the second it touched what Nokigon now realised to be an illusion.
Instantly, the Kobolds abandoned the dragon; Nokigon's surprise was such that he stopped the flow of magic which kept the thing alive. It turned to dust; Nokigon swore. Within seconds, they were surrounded. He turned to look at the other dwarves, then grinned. The dwarves all looked at him; then they returned his grin.
The Kobolds snarled, waiting for the outnumbered men to drop their weapons, or possibly to do nothing. What they did NOT expect though was for the dwarves to scream a battle-cry, and leap into the attack, axes whirling and spells flying.
Nokigon drew his sword and lunged for a Kobold- his sword slashed into the Kobold's weakly protected chest. He spun around, drawing a large knife from his waist as he did, and rammed the point of his knife in an enemies' eye. He cursed as the impact of the blow ripped the knife from his hand, then slashed diagonally down at a kobold, cutting into the skull. He stepped forward, cut horizontally, killing three with one slash, then sent a plume of fire to his right, killing a little over half a dozen orcs.
Yet he couldn't keep it up forever- everywhere, it was simply a sea of orcs displaced by the odd shining helmet and axes. Nokigon sensed a weapon coming in behind him, backflipped over his enemy and beheaded the Kobold. He then started strolling forward, leaving an avenue of death as he followed, but for every Kobold he cut down there was always another to follow. No matter what he did, no matter how many spears he blocked, throats he cut or soldiers he summoned the stream of Kobolds coming out of Caer Arrod never ceased or even slowed. Soon the dwarves and Nokigon were leaving mountains of enemies behind them, but not without losses. 8 dwarves in their shining armour lay behind them.
Somehow, the dwarves and Nokigon found themselves fighting back to back. They were surrounded by hundreds, maybe even thousands of their foe. Then there came the shout, in guttural Orkish. Nokigon could not translate it, but  the orcs quickly opened a route to the door of the keep. The door swung open, and a shining light shone out. Nokigon squinted as his eyes attempted to pierce the light.
Who are you? Nokigon wondered. Who could you possibly be?
