I was thinking that it might be useful to be able to make automatic shipments between cities. Maybe add a "Repeat shipment every..." option so you can send an initial shipment of resources and have it repeat at a given time interval. Even better if it could be tied to prestige to offer the option of automatically speeding up the shipments as well. It would be helpful when building a new city or to spread out resources where one city produces a surplus another could use. Just a thought.

This game has soo much potential. I've heard plenty of good ideas in the past just like this one. Hopefully it will be looked into.

Problem with things like automatic shipments is that they remove the need to actually log in and encourage people to just leave their account running on autopilot.

They can put a time limit for up to a few days and then you would have to log in to reset it. This can even work with messengers or armies where you can set the time to take off. It can be a prestige thing. The only way to use this function is to use a certain amount of prestige.

Perhaps but with all the empty complexity they have added they need to add something to streamline the game.  

Auto-shipping, auto-harvesting and more would do a lot of improve the game.  Although I think the biggest thing would be to adjust the T3 resources.  We have a thousand different equipment and T3 resources which are hardly worth the effort to even equip.

A research branch, leading to at least one new trade unit (Trade Officer, Foreman, Laborer...), and options to trigger trades either by time period or by quantity, I.e. when wood reaches 600,000, send 30,000 to x Hub. This whole operation would be have to be very expensive, of course, to pay for the salaries, upkeep, bureaucracy and access.
